After much research and discussion we settled on the Stamina 7100 because it wasn’t too heavy for us senior citizens to handle. We weren’t sure it would be a quality product, but ordered it anyway. It arrived in less than a week. We took the parts out of the box for ease in carrying it down to our rec room – at 100 pounds it had been a heavy load. My husband assembled it in two hours – an arduous job, but compared to others I heard about, not extreme. After assembly it turned out to be solid, smooth riding, comfortable with the back support and wide seat, and a really positive surprise. The computer programs were easy to set and perfectly adequate. I don’t know how much more a person would need in a home exercise bike. I recommend it highly. J. Rowley

Put the thing together in about 2 hours, but I took my time. A motivated person could do it in 30 minutes quite easily. It’s a solid bike. Quiet, comfortable, sturdy (very important), has heartrate sensors built into the lower handlebars. I bought this for my pregnant wife, but I find myself using it quite often and I’m a bit of a gym rat.

Got the bike, it arrived in a heavily damaged box, but the bike and parts itself were not damaged.
Took about 2 hours to assemble, which was easy
had a clicking noise when i changed gears, called the company and they send a new motor.
installed that and it only shifted between 2 gears, thought it was the worst purchase ever
company informed me to contact amazon for replacement, without any hassle they send a new bike, i mailed back the crappy one.
new bike arrived in same but undamaged packaging, put it together, this time only took me 1 hour (got used to the process i guess)and it works great!
the bike makes no noise, I bike it when i watch tv, and as a soccer player thought I had some leg muscle, but with the different programs on it, you can be a starter, or a pro because it is a good workout either way.

Ordered through Amazon.com. Received the box on 4/27. Upon opening found the entire seat assembly (back and seat) missing from the box as well as one of the wiring insulator plugs. Called Stamina and placed order for warranty replacement on 4/28. So far – almost a week later – have not seen any parts so the bike is totally useless! Finally on 5/3 received email stating that parts were “processed” but still have no tracking number or any way to know when, how, or if they were shipped. Frankly, folks, this is no way to run a business. I would not recommend doing business with Stamina! If it wasn’t such a hassle to repack I would send the whole thing back to Amazon.
