I purchased this exerciser for my mother (82 years of age). She absolutely loves it and uses it constantly while sitting in front of the television. Due to hot weather and mosquitoes, she is unable to walk outside, and this little exerciser has more than substituted for her lack of outdoor walks. She also uses it for her arms and is very happy with the results. The Isokinetics Pedal Exerciser is well engineered and constructed for stability. It is not a toy, but a very good piece of exercise equipment. The design, quality and price are all pluses. I am very glad I made this purchase.

They all look the same but the price range is big. I can say that I believe this model is as good as they get. The quality is high and the pedal resistance can go all the way up to a a pretty hard workout, if you want to. I like the 4 big feet on this model. I think they will wear better than the kind I’ve seen on other models, and they look cooler!

I tried one of these for $9.99 from a different site/seller, and went through 2 of them in 5 weeks (including the time it took to ship the 2nd one out). My money is too tight to pay much more, but I got a refund from them and bought this one. It’s been about 6 weeks, and this one still seems solid. I think the big rubber “feet” on it helps a lot.
It’s needed a dab of oil a couple times to stop squeaking, but that’s no big deal.

Used one every day for a week and it broke. Also, a word of warning: it generates a *lot* of heat when in use. I brushed it after a 20-minute session with a bare ankle and gave myself a first degree burn.
Might be fine if you want something for *very* light duty, maybe for the arms. But if you set this on the floor in front of your couch before a Law and Order marathon, they’re going to be doing a post-mortem on it before the last commercial break

This is a nice, simple piece of equipment for the office if you are sitting all day. If you place it under your desk you will need to lower your chair. It is a good way to burn some calories by staying in motion. I noticed a difference in just a week by pedaling two hours per day while working at computer. Keep some household oil on hand for when it starts to squeak.
