I want to become a professional fitness trainer, anyone know how?
I want to become a professional fitness trainer, and i want the best education i can get. do i go to a four year college? can anyone point me in the direction of what i should be lookin at?
Well it all depends on where u want to be a fitness trainer and some places like the ymca or different gyms require 4 years of college. Some of them just require applications. I hope this helps.

Get a cert through ACSM or NASM, both of those are held in high regard. A 4 year degree on top of that will put you ahead of the rest when applying to a job and will get you in the door at more prestigious gyms, plus the pay will be better. Branch out and get certs in strength training, sports nutrition, special population, etc to make it so you are more in demand since you will be diversified. Most of what you learn, practically anyways, will come from being underneath the prevervivial bar.
