What are the pros and cons of becoming a certified fitness trainer over the internet as opposed to a school?
It is better to get a certification in a gym so you get "hand on" experience and you get. Studying in groups of more people help you uncover more, ask more questions you may not have thought of, etc..
-Online is cheaper / in class is more exspensive
-Online you go at your own pace / in class is usually condensed and based the assumption you have a base level of knowledge
getting your certification is the beginning of the learning experience.
good luck

I think the pros would be that you could get your cert. quickly and start getting cash from desperate fat ladies right away.
Just promise them they will be thin in 30 days and have a no refund policy in your contract. When they are still fat after 30 days just laugh and tell them it’s all the pudding they eat.
