Finding The Best Elliptical Trainers
Purchasing a premium rated elliptical trainer is a great investment into your fitness lifestyle. It goes without saying that you should also invest time researching for a trainer with the features you desire and that is reliable. Price may or may not be an indicator of quality when it comes to elliptical trainers. It really pays to shop around for the best qaulity and price.
The fastest way to begin your research is by reading as many reviews as you can on each model that provides the features that you are interested in. You can find these online and in the various fitness magazines at your local gym or Y. It also pays dividends to talk to professional trainers as they will know what machines provide the best workout and have the best features. Another person you might want to talk to is the fitness equipment repairman. Every time I see one at our local Y I make a point in making contact with him. He will certainly know what the most reliable elliptical trainers are because he fixes the problem or poor quality trainers on a regular basis.
Quality elliptical trainers always have a wide range of features. A comfortable stride length that has the width to allow you to keep balanced on the trainer will go a long way in making your workouts safe and comfortable. Ergonomically placed handlebars to allow a comfortable upper body workout is a real plus. Wide comfortable pedals are also important as they may allow you to slightly change your foot placement for your maximum comfort and safety. Electronics with good fitness routines built in allows you to increase your exercise levels as you become more fit. They also keep you from getting bored, which is a major concern with any fitness program. Good heart monitoring is always required when doing any kind of intensive cardio exercise.
Physically testing the elliptical is the most important part of your selection process. Ideally you will have the opportunity to test several different trainers at the local gym or Y. This allows you to try the elliptical trainer more than once and also to talk to other people using the ellipticals. However if you do not have a local fitness center available then you should go to your local dealer and take the model you are interested in for a test ride. Most dealers will endeavor to accommodate you. You may have to go to several dealers to test the full range of models available. This is time well spent.
If you do not do your homework you will purchase a machine that most likely does not fit you or meet your needs. This usually means that you will stop using it, which means you have also stopped exercising. If the machine is of poor quality you will become good friends with the fitness equipment repairman. It isn’t just the cost it is also the down time that interrupts your workout routine. Do not buy a machine online or from a catalog without testing it first. You will almost always you will be dissatisfied with your purchase.
Quality elliptical trainers are one of the very best pieces of exercise equipment on the market. If you have done the research and testing you will most likely find and purchase a quality elliptical trainer that will help you achieve your fitness goals.

What do you find to be the best way to lose flab, elliptical trainers or treadmills?
I go to the gym usually 2 – 4 times a week, and I have lost a bit of weight, but I still have a bit of flab on my stomach. I usually go on the elliptical for 45 minutes, and then the treadmill for 45 minutes (alternating 5 minutes running/brisk walk). I’m just wondering, what do you find burns flab better, an elliptical trainer, or a treadmill?
Thank you.

This could be just excess flesh caused by the stretching of your skin when you weighed more. This is impossible to get rid of and you may have to just live with it.
If you don’t think it is this it could be that your energy out put is still less than your calorie intake. Running is a great way to burn calories, one of the best ways is after your last meal of the day, after it is properly digested of course, then again before breakfast. This will cause you body to use those extra stores of fat namely those round your middle.
It very hard but it works. Look it up
